Closet Favorites

Stripes have a mind of their own. Striped pants are creeping their way back into the fashion industry more and more. These striped high-waisted culottes are my FAVORITE! I've had these for over a year now, and I always find something new to wear with them.

Listen - Zara is the place to find trousers and culottes for a reasonable price! I was in the mood to find something bold and different while shopping for a new pair of pants, and I did just that. Jeans are uncomfortable at times, so I like searching for different pant styles. Black and white pair well with pops of color or any other neutral color. These go perfect with any type of crop top, bodysuit, graphic tee, heels, and/or sneakers!

I paired the pants with a simple nude bodysuit and jean choker from Naked Wardrobe (love this online store), along with classic old school Vans. The Vans added a bit of edge, which is what I felt was necessary with this outfit. This look is a melting pot of what my style is (still haven't found a label yet).

As for the favorite piece of clothing in your closet, I have five words - until the wheels fall off! You never know how many looks you can pull off with your favorite piece, or how many compliments you'll receive. Remember to always work with what you have, especially if adding to your closet seems unattainable right now. Again, I'm still learning how to do this. I hope you all enjoyed this look, stay tuned!
