For the most part, I enjoy wearing solid colors that I can either layer, contrast or simply wear the piece by itself. Solid colors can give you multiple options. Also, make sure that the material of the clothing will mesh well when combining with other colors! Yes- patterns, graphics, and embellishments are great, I love them all! Though, I find myself drawn more to working with solids.

I bought this white sheen looking bodysuit (Palisades Bodysuit) and black/red striped high waisted pants (Him Pants) from an online store called Fashion Nova. Let me tell you- this whole outfit fit perfectly! The pants are my favorite from this look. They give a track/sport and sleek look. I love that these pants extenuate your curves and legs, especially with the right heels! I paired mustard ( a color that I love) ball earrings with this outfit. They remind me that summer is still in session.

This look gives off a "night out to dinner" feel. I bought these chunky clear strapped mules from Steve madden. They are simple and super trendy, I have a ton of outfits in mind to wear with these! Finally, I bought this handheld strapped purse from Nordstrom for under $45! This is my go-to purse for now.

If you want to create multiple options with your clothes, I would advise you to play around with solid clothing. You can never go wrong. Don't be hesitant to add a pop of color, even if it's minimal.
