All Year Round

I think we all know what color stays relevant year round without getting played out. Yes, BLACK! Black is the perfect go-to color. You can create pretty much any look when it comes to black.

I bought this sophisticated and sleek looking jumpsuit from Zara in desperate need to find something new to wear for an interview. At first, I thought to myself, "How much more simple can this get?!" (I'm usually drawn to simple pieces that have the potential to be added on to). I did not realize how much I would be able to utilize this outfit, especially with the embellishments on the sleeves and pant legs. I paired bold white and silver flat slip-on sandals that I purchased from Missguided (on sale, too!). Also, if you ever need cute sunglasses on a budget, Nordstrom is the way to go. These shades were under twenty bucks! For this look I wanted the actual outfit to speak for itself, so I went for a more casual, yet sophisticated look. Though, I have paired this jumpsuit with pops of color like yellow, hot pink, and mocha.

I want to shed light on taking advantage of what is your closet. Yes, black is a year round color, but do not be afraid to make other colors in your closet year round too! Whether you're on a budget or not, know what your closet offers you and how you can utilize those pieces. I'm still working on this myself.
