Faith
In the Bible, it says your faith can be as small as a mustard seed (reference Matthew 17:20) . Let me tell you, there will be times where your faith is that small because of the circumstances you are enduring; I will be honest and say that quite often, I have fluctuating faith, though I never lose my faith completely in Christ. When you go through trials with such little faith you will see how far God brought you when you look back on that season.
I’m dealing with it now! My faith is fluctuating regarding my event (Passion & Faith), but I am so excited to put it together for you all. I’m eager to see how far God brings me with this idea. Whenever I put together an outfit or blog post, I put my faith foot forward and hope to inspire anyone even in the most simplest form, such as the colors I choose to wear!
Now, can we talk about how much I all of sudden love to wear the color brown?! I honestly was not looking for a dress when I walked into Zara but I saw this satin cowl neck chocolate dress and I had to have it. It was only $49 at Zara. I will be honest and say that I regret buying this satin duster. I got it on sale at nastygal.com and let me tell you... the material on the inside of it looked so cheap. Nonetheless, I made it work for this shoot. I really loved the style of the duster but the quality was not up to par. I loved how both of these nude/earth tone colors contrasted with one another! One more piece that I love about this look is my “praying hands” necklace from Adrienne Bailon’s jewelry line XIXI. It was only $30 online at xixi.com . This look is perfect for a dinner date.
When you put your faith foot forward you see the seeds you hesitantly planted come to fruition by God’s love and grace. Whatever it is that you are passionate about, try elevating your faith and see where it takes you! I hope you guys stay tuned for more details to come about my first event - Passion & Faith coming February 2020! Keep those #ideasloading
