I didn’t realize until this year how important it is to put your faith behind your passion. It wasn’t until I graduated this year that I saw the fruits of my labor finally come to fruition. I can attest that when you’re in the trenches it feels like your passion is being swept under the rug because of how much you have on your plate - and sometimes your plate gets piled up. Though when you come out of the trenches, you see that God was purposefully building you with His armor of love, grace, and mercy. He was also molding you into the woman or man He called you to be in order to fulfill your purpose.

With that purpose comes the passion He has placed inside of you. I know you all know by now that I love fashion; it is what sits well with my heart. Maybe not every look is my all-time best “runway” outfit but, when I do put myself together, it's with great effort, strong passion and faith behind it that sets me apart. Just like this look!

I decided to give you all a different type of blog post, more of a lifestyle vibe. So I decided why not a cute coffee shop? I intentionally put this look together to give it that “let me make a coffee-run before I start my day” look. I love how the colors blended well with the decor in the coffee shop, this was perfectly unintentional. My favorite part about this outfit is my leopard beret from ASOS.com., I love that it's not too simple, but enough to make an outfit pop. I also adore this corduroy sherpa jacket that I bought from cottonon.com for $60, this is a perfect staple for the fall. I recommend buying a good jacket/coat that you will utilize for the fall and winter. I completed this look with jeans, a graphic TUPAC tee from cottonon.com as well (I’ve been into graphic tees lately, they are just easy to work with), heeled black boots and minimal gold jewelry. This is a perfect coffee run, breakfast, brunch, or movie date outfit! By the way this coffeeshop called Hilltop is amazing! Their drinks are so good and they have the trendiest atmosphere and decor. This is a neighborhood go-to in Los Angeles off of Slauson Ave and Overhill Dr. Try it out, you will not be disappointed and the parking is FREE!

I absolutely LOVED this shoot. I felt the most comfortable and confident with this look. I also felt very passionate about this blog post overall. At times we might not feel so passionate when we are in the midst of pursuing our passion because there might be steps we may not enjoy to get to where we need to be, that is where your faith comes in. With that being said,I am excited to announce that in February I will host my first event called “Passion & Faith!" Stay tuned to learn more along the way!

With Love,
