Chi-Town Baby

Chicago was the best trip I’ve taken thus far. I enjoyed every bit of it - from the food to the scenery and the atmosphere, the people, and most of all being able to serve looks! This post will be all about where to eat and visit in Chicago, as well as what my go to accessories were, and where I purchased my clothing.
The best food spots I had in Chicago were Harold’s Chicken Shack, Bar Sienna, Lou Malnati’s, and Stan's Donuts! They are all reasonably priced and great for all the foodies out there. I’m a foodie so you know I was on Yelp the entire trip searching for the best and most local food hot spots. You have to visit the famous Bean, take the water taxi, and walk through magnificent mile! Make sure you stay in downtown Chicago so you are in walking distance from most places.
Now - my favorite accessories for this trip were my grey tassel fanny pack by Rebecca Minkoff, my rounded cat shaped sunglasses, and my super cute mini pink Polaroid. Most of my attire was purchased from prettylittething.com or Target! Yes, I said Target. They have a new brand called Wild Fable and it is so affordable, yet so trendy. I fell in love. I kept the makeup natural and minimal. Also, I brought my favorite hair product by Ouai, which is wave hairspray that works well with wavy hair. It is infused with rice protein which gives my hair a "beach wave". This product can be found at Sephora for $26.
I learned a lot about life while visiting Chicago. A beautiful, fun, or relaxing vacay doesn’t only exist where the islands are. Get out and see all of the world. I promise you won’t regret it. You’ll find yourself craving to see more of what the world or your own country has to offer. Time waits for no one, money comes and goes, but memories last forever. Remember, keep those #ideasloading.
