Hey guys! Do you ever feel like you always need something new in your closet? I feel that way ALL the time. Social media can make you feel as though you constantly need whatever is new that hits the market in order to stay "trendy" or relevant.

I am here to tell you that is not true.

I used to constantly feel like if I didn't have something new to wear - especially for a blog post - people would think twice about my sense of style. I've learned this is not the case at all. There needs to be more people displaying their sense of style with what is already in their closet. Utilizing your closet to its maximum capacity -mixing and matching - will give you the opportunity to find your aesthetic and to be confident in what you already have.  I'm not saying that buying new clothes is an issue because who doesn't love new clothes!? My point is that you should not allow social media to pressure you into feeling like you need a new fit for every picture you post on the 'gram.

Secure your closet.

When I planned this photo shoot for my blog, I complained that I didn't have anything new to wear. Once I calmed down and realized that what I already have is good enough, I came up with this cute and casual fit that was already in my closet! The only thing new are my earrings! My top came straight from prettylittlething.com. Now, these jeans were screaming my name when I saw them on fashionnova.com. I love the silver snaps on the side of these jeans - they're what caught my eye. I purchased these super cute Picasso inspired earrings  from gemandcompany.com where you can use my code PYF20 for twenty percent off. I love how casual this look is but super cute and unique at the same time. I would classify this as more of a day time look!

One thing I find myself struggling with is my confidence in MY sense of style and blogging helps spark my confidence so that I'm able to help or inspire each of you with your closet. Again, secure your closet.

Remember, keep those #ideasloading.

With Love, Paris Ysatis
