Catch Me In LA

Hey Guys!
This post is going to have a mix between food and fashion. I want to start showing all of you my looks for when I actually go out. Last Wednesday we celebrated my best friend Morgan's birthday at a restaurant in West Hollywood called Catch LA! The food was great and I really enjoyed how my outfit meshed well with the ambiance. I hope you all enjoy!
I am sure you all (who are Instagram savvy) have seen the infamous picture in front of a C that is formed into an anchor. I couldn't help myself! Catch LA has been a pretty popular brunch and dinner spot for some time now. Their interior decor is to die for and is perfect for you to get your angles right for that perfect picture! They have a wide selection of seafood options and cocktails.
While I was getting ready I was not fond of how this two piece looked on me, but then I quickly reminded myself that my hair and makeup was not done yet. At first, I felt like my outfit screamed for attention because of the pattern. So after I put myself together, I took back all of my negative thoughts and quickly adored this set! I made this look simple with minimal gold jewelry, a black bucket purse, and my blue velvet platform heels (I love a pop of color). I bought this set from blushelegance.com . I love the one-shoulder top with the ruffle, this is actually my favorite part of the outfit! Also, I love the high-waist pants that extenuate my curves. This set is perfect if you want your outfit to make a statement but also perfect sophistication.
As I am getting older, I am realizing that time waits for no one. So, I've decided to make more of a conscious effort to capture moments with my friends and family when we encounter new experiences or quality time with one another. Remember to live in the moment, the clock is ticking! Keep those #ideasloading!
