Life Challenges

Hey guys!
Lately, I've been into budgeting my money for clothing. I want you all to know that I'm not a rich college student who has the means to buy everything that I lay my eyes on. I want to be as relatable as possible to remind you to exude the same confidence that I do when I set a budget for an outfit.
Target has been a constant in my budget challenges. Like I've said before, their new line Wild Fable has been a huge hit for me and my closet! I hope you all are motivated to try a #targetchallenge after seeing what I've been able to create.
Now, let's get more into this look.
I went into Target with an open mind not knowing exactly what look I was striving for, but I did know I wanted to achieve something that screamed Fall. I LOVE these high waisted, zip front, plaid pants. They were only $22! They are subtle yet trendy.
I actually picked out my top first. I was eye balling it for its casual appeal which is something I love to pair with dressy pieces. Not to mention it was only $12!
My favorite part of this look are my emerald green, faux fur slides which were only $24 - I couldn't pass up a deal like that. I love how the green offsets my pants and top. If any of you keep up with my posts, then you know I love a pop of color.
Like always, I kept the jewelry to a minimum, but I will work on utilizing jewelry more often. My simple, dainty silver earrings were only $8!
My whole outfit cost roughly around $70, which is great! I definitely can't wait to show you all more challenges I have up my sleeve, so be on the look out for those and future Fall looks!
Life always has a way of throwing you challenges, but we have to remind ourselves to dust off the dirt and keep pushing forward, because the only way is up. If life isn't throwing you any challenges, challenge yourself! My #targetchallenge was to show you all that even when you don't have a lot, you can still look presentable, make an inexpensive outfit look top-notch, and make it fashionable! Remember, keep those #ideaslaoding !
