The year is coming to a close and everyone is excited about the New Year. Personally, I like to dwell on what I want to accomplish in 2019, but more importantly remember what I have accomplished in 2018. I feel it is important to first be grateful for what you have and how far you've come, rather than being infatuated with what you don't have just yet. I hope you guys enjoy my last post of the year and that you might take something from it based on my 2018 reflections and new suggested buys!

As a fashion blogger, I like to be as transparent as possible. I don't have all the fancy, expensive things, or money in this world. However, I am confident enough to say that I am able to make an affordable outfit look a bit more expensive. I think it’s important for my readers to relate to my circumstances as a young adult in my twenties trying to find a place for myself in this world. Like I’ve mentioned before - it’s okay to  work with what you have. I’m okay with being a public example of that when it comes to my sense of style. Now, since this look did justice for the last post of the year, let's talk about where you can purchase these items!

This look gives sophisticated, classy, and casual vibes. I initially went for a simple, cute and casual look, but then ideas started to flood my head.  My outfit is from a combination of a few online stores. My top and accessories are from prettylittlething.com. This may look like a skirt but it is actually a dress from jluxlabel.com that I styled under my cute t-shirt. One of my favorite Christmas gifts is this purse from mango.com. Also, this jacket is so essential for the cold weather and it's from cottonon.com. This look is perfect for a night time outing with friends or your significant other. Personally, I would wear it to a nice dinner outing!

Reflecting back on this year, I can say that I'm grateful for all the opportunities that I've been able to take advantage of. It's been a tad bit of a roller coaster because juggling school, work, internships, my health, and social life is not easy. Rolling into my last semester as an undergrad student is exciting and nerve-wrecking at the same time!  With that being said, stay true to yourself throughout the adversity because there is always beauty at the end of the journey. Remember, keep those #ideasloading!

With Love,

Paris Ysatis
